WHO
This race is for Rockheads only, Knuckleheads need not apply.
WHAT
Fully-supported 26.2 OR 13.1 miles (and now 11k!) over gnarly trails showcasing roots, sand, water, wildlife, hills, and of course....rocks, lots and lots of rocks. This is a challenging but fun course that will cover over 1,000' of elevation change.
WHEN
Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 - 9:00 am start for both Full & Half lengths. This race has a 6-hour cutoff at 3:00 pm.
Check-in begins at 7:30am at the pavilion near the trail head (by the south east parking lot)
WHERE
Pontiac Lake Recreation Area - Waterford, MI. Check-in will be at the South parking lot near the beach. The starting line is in the same area at the trailhead of the mountain biking trails.

The only way we know....one foot in front of the other.

Entry includes a technical shirt for all finishers, multiple aid stations along the course, post-race food, and nice prizes.
The park also charges a $6 daily vehicle fee upon entering the park.

Return Policy
Registered participants are eligible for a 100% refund up until one month before the race. After September 2nd all race fees will be non-refundable.
Switching Race Distances
Racers will be allowed to switch down to the Half Marathon or Lil' Pebble 11k and be refunded the cost difference up until one month before the race. After September 2nd, and including race day, any change from the race distance originally registered for will not be eligible for any refund. Refunds from changes made before September 2nd will be distributed on race day.
